I'm sure you'd have been brought up in life by comparing and contrasting you with other fellows either in your institution or in home. The real competing world, people fighting to be successful, fighting to win the race is seen only after the academics. And corporate in not an exception to it, I bet you can see many races being raced inside those glassed architectures, make sure that you to run the race only the healthy race.
CORPORATE!!! This is one world which I envied to be there before I take any decisions to continue my academics. I’ve no Idea why I envied it the most, may be cause of the tall glassed building which I happen to see here and there or the infrastructure, the tagged people the peter English, everything from the corporate impressed me. Anyways, after a very good struggle, I found myself in this world. The initial days where like experiencing this that and whatever I happen to see.
The corporate caught me in the lazy trap, with those freebies available in the pantry, lean back chair and Air-Conditioned room and computer to browse not to forget set of buddies to hang around the office. What else do we need to get lazy, lazier ......???
I almost enjoyed every bit of corporate except for the day when I came to know about 'IT'. I initially thought that only a few are followers of 'it', but my predictions were wrong by the time I came to know many were there in 'it' also caught few of my friends into 'it'.'It' abducts everyone and exploits them irrespective of gender, age. Nothing seems to stop 'it'. People go crazy about 'it' they were driven wilder than ever. If you think it's a pure corporate thing and there is no corporate without 'it', If corporate alone has to blamed for 'it'. Then its non-sense, it's found very common in everywhere. For that matter even 'it' 'itself' cannot be blamed.
Then the question comes "have you not done 'it' or not in 'it' at any point of time???". If you say the answer as NO some might believe that and some might take it in a sarcastic way. If you were supposed to raise your voice against 'it' I'm sure you’d get an answer as "try to behave maturely". This is another race running inside the scenic beauties.
"If you're constantly thinking about what 'it' is??? Or what 'it' does??? You probably end up your life thinking and thinking about 'it' and never ever can concentrate on any other race among the corporate."
Apart from that there also contenders for many other races.
The race for an onsite opportunity.OMG!!! I hope this is the biggest of the all. I know why?? Even you know why???. The foreign trip. Wannabe an alien in a foreign country??? Then you should be taking part in this race. You know what you get if you win it. I suppose no one says no to this one. Don’t worry if you say NO. There is another race getting promoted up the order to handle offshore team.
Yeah!!! The Offshore race. When people have some reasons to say no to the onsite race there is always a way to be in the offshore race. A local recognition is far higher than the one you get in onsite. You can have opportunities like team lead, project lead and so on depending upon your organization hierarchy.
Apart from these big league races, there are small races like; the race for best employee, the race for best team, the best in that , the best in this..... I think corporate managers are genius by designing the races like this for every such associate they ensure the better business.
Still now I just explored only this in the very world. Sorry If I’m wrong on any wrong explorations or ideas given here. Cheers!!!
